The following are responsibilities related to theAssociate Scientist:

Assist Study Directors/ Principal Investigators with their duties in support of Immunologyassays;

Prepare study-related documentation and schedules in collaboration with StudyDirectors;

Ascertain availability of test items, reagents, matrix, etc. prior to commencement of studies and throughout theirduration;

Monitor the laboratory activities during the study by conducting regular visits to the lab, by supervising critical activities and reviewing records asappropriate;

Assist laboratory staff in the execution of method development, validation and sampleanalysis;

Review collected data and ensure completion of necessarycorrections;

Support in identifying unexpected events and take appropriate actions, in consultation with the StudyDirector;

Prepare various draft reports and assist in the finalization after receipt of the Quality Assurance and/or Client’scomments;

Perform “hands-on” technical help in the laboratory that may be requiredin the course oftheirduties;

All other reasonable tasks as needed. Short Description

The following are minimum qualifications related to theAssociate Scientistposition:

Bachelor's degree in Immunology or related scientific field, or equivalent (Master’s degree is an asset);

Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratoryexperience;

Working experience in at least one of the following areas: ELISA/ligand-binding assays, multiplex assays, flow cytometry, molecular biology, and/or cell-basedassays;

Good knowledge and application ofGLP;

Ability to coach technicalpersonnel;

Bilingualism (French/English), verbal and written, isrequired;
