  Job Summary Responsible for leading the development, implementation and delivery of OutSystems Testing Strategy and its relentless continuous improvement. They will be the principal OutSystems Testing domain expert, thought leader and quality assurance champion, working as part of an integrated multi-functional Agile team. They understand the imperative of an “automate first” approach to Testing within a Digital world and are committed to this vision. They are passionate about technology, excited about the impact of emerging innovations and relish working in a constantly evolving environment. This position can be remote or at our Wilmington site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilites:

• Design, build, implement and maintain a tailored platform/product specific Testing Strategy

• Lead the platform Testing Chapter, building a domain focused collaboration hub, driving innovation and best practice adoption

• As an integral part of the Agile squad, collaborate to continuously improve value delivered, capability and practice, whilst ensuring quality is built into the process

• Identify, develop and implement appropriate value adding Test Automation solutions, embedding continuous testing capability into the delivery pipeline

• Build a detailed understanding of business priorities, product vision and value drivers

• Collaborate closely with SME’s, Designers and Software Engineers to design and execute risk-based, targeted and regression testing coverage

• Work across platforms and chapters to develop and implement robust, structured and efficient enterprise wide testing solutions

• Develop measurement frameworks to enable regular assessment of performance and value, informing and driving an insatiable desire for improvement

• Stay up to date with Testing best practices, industry innovations and trends

• Adhere to pertinent regulatory requirements, company policies, practices and procedures (e.g., SOX, SOP, GLP, GMP, etc.)

Job Qualifications

Essential

• Minimum of Five (5) years in a Lead Testing role (Test Manager, Chapter Lead, Principal Test Engineer etc.)

• More than Five (5) years multi-browser E-Commerce testing experience

• At least Two (2) years OutSystems functional Testing experience

• Agile Testing practitioner with deep knowledge of frameworks/methodologies and use of ALM tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira)

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and proficient in writing tests for them

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JSON and the HTTP protocol

Desirable:

• Continuous Automated Testing within a DevOps environment

• Experience Testing LIMS systems

• Hands on MuleSoft Testing experience

• Coding proficiency in one or more object oriented, or scripting languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)

• Developing and implementing Performance Testing (Load, Soak, Stress, Volume etc.) strategies and familiar with market leading toolsets
