We have an exciting opportunity to join our best in class global talent acquisition team. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Recruiter to source and recruit candidates in the clinical research field. This role acts as a talent advisor to provide strategic oversight to assigned business units within ANZ (and potentially APAC)around PPD’s recruitment process, onboarding and employment brand. This position will mainly be responsible for sourcing and hiring of CRAs, SSU Specialists, CTMs, PMs across ANZ.

Responsibilities include: Sources, recruits, screens resumes and interviews internal and external candidates for vacancies, including mid to senior level positions. Ensures necessary authorization is obtained prior to commencing recruitment activity. Maintains records of activity via the recruitment system and prepares productivity, analytical and other reports as assigned. Tracks applicants. May assist management in sourcing of support functions as necessary. Provides frequent, high quality, value-added advice and counsel to business partners on recruiting and staffing issues. Remains abreast of industry trends. Provides relevant reports for Hiring Managers for added value or influence.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5 years).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High level of proficiency in the areas of sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing Detailed knowledge of CRO/pharma/biotechindustry with a strong ability to assess candidates' fit within the industry (highly preferred) Demonstrated ability to apply comprehensive knowledge, rational thought process, judgment and a corporate perspective when focusing staffing and selections strategies on business issues Strong level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity Strong analytical and quantitative abilities Ability to juggle multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results Good written and oral communications skills Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and outside vendors, with skills to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients

This position is being offered initially on a fixed term contract for 6-9 months with strong possibility going permanent. This role can be office based (Melbourne) or home-based in other Australian locations on the East Coast.
