Your role
In your role as Analytics & Business Excellence Manager you will support Real-World Solutions business unit in a number of ways. From providing advanced analytics & visualizations, supporting business partners, helping drive innovation, to driving adoption of industry-leading technologies and solutions. The ideal candidate comes with a broad skillset, continuous improvement mindset and passion for data, analytics & technology.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, implements and maintains complex analytics dashboards. These dashboards are submitted to all levels of management
- Undertakes Project Management activities in relation to the development of new and updates to existing reports required from operational process improvements and adoption of new technologies
- Support global operations team with preparation of ad-hoc analysis in areas of resourcing, finance, productivity, operational metrics
- Serve as a main point of contact for report-related questions. Be able to find root cause of problems, propose a solution and implement
- Provides subject-matter expertise related to metrics reporting and dashboards
- Develops, implements and manages processes / best practices related to the development, validation, support, maintenance of the metrics dashboards.
- Continuously identify sources of performance optimization & implement improvements
- Participate in adoption of technology solutions and process improvements
- Change-management advocate
- Develops and delivers training as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- A history of leading successful analytics & change management projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing complex dashboards using business intelligence (BI) and analytics software (Spotfire preferred). SQL experience an advantage.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking and technical skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Excellent planning, organizational, project and time management skills.
- Excellent documentation skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Pharmaceutical, biotech or other regulated industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading and successfully and timely delivering on implementation of cross-functional initiatives and programs with senior executive leadership visibility
