The individual inthis positionwill be involved inallaspects of studies supporting the invivo pharmacology group. This position will be responsible for but not limited to, all aspects of the in-life phase of rodent xenograft study including study set up, test article administration, animal observation, sample collection and documentation.

The following are minimum qualifications related to theResearch Associate 1 (Oncology)position:

Education: High school diploma or General Equivalent Degree (G.E.D.). Associate's (A.S.) or Bachelor's (B.S.) preferred or equivalent in animal or life science or related discipline. Experience: related experience in animal research and/or husbandry preferred. Prior experience working with xenograft models is highly desirable. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Certification/Llcensure: ALAT preferred. Other: Abilityto handle common laboratory species. Abilityto effectively communicate orally and in writing to coworkers and supervisors. Proficient in basic technical skills and the operation of data collection equipment. Knowledge of GLPs and other federal regulations and guidelines relating to the care of laboratory animals. Basic understanding of study design and protocols. Ability to work weekends as needed.
