The Training Business Partner (TBP) is the single point of contact that Parexel Business Units connect to in order to access best in class L&D support. As a member of this strategically focused team of L&D experts, the Associate Training Business Partner (ATBP) supports a broad base of L&D projects in order to help Parexel Business Units access best in class L&D support. As a member of this strategically focused team of L&D experts, the ATBP is expected to develop relationships with other TBPs, HR Business Partners, Project Stakeholders and SMEs in an effort to put effective learning solutions in place to manage performance and development gaps that must be addressed if the business is to successfully achieve its goals.

Specifically, this role will support initiatives sponsored and driven by our Corporate Services functions (HR, Finance, Quality, Legal and IT) and as such will be expected to lead small to mid-scale L&D projects and global training initiatives aligned with business unit objectives, work with other TBPs to coordinate processes and cross functional L&D projects, help administer, coordinate and deliver data for team KPIs and be available to manage tactical support as needed (i.e. report management, team communications, client updates).

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business SMEs, leaders, HRBPs and TBPs to maximize the impact that training can have in order to achieve business objectives

• Work closely with the TBP and Design Resources to analyze and define the right training requirements, identify the capability gaps and structure the appropriate training requirements (with support of instructional design consultants) to build required organizational capability

• Lead cross-functional / technical training workstreams and training design projects and manage them through the project lifecycle

• Ensure training delivery quality and the content meets business requirements

• In partnership with the TBP, business leaders, SMEs, and other L&D support staff, identify the right target audience, assign appropriate training and report on compliance

• Provides support in collecting and reporting all key performance indicator data on behalf of the TBP team. This includes but is not limited to Monthly Scorecards, KPIs, and Client Satisfaction scores. This role may also drive internal and external evaluations such as the L&D Client Satisfaction survey.

• Collect feedback on all responsible training content to ensure continuous improvements

• Assist other parts of L&D and the business to qualify instructors

• Be available / willing to travel up to 10% of the time

• Project Manage between 10-15 projects at any given time

QualificationsThe most successful candidate will have successful experience in the following:

• Proven success in consulting with Subject Matter Experts on learning related solutions

• Steller project management

• Proven relationship management (ability to create and maintain a strong network)

• Ability to work with and influence key stakeholders, peers and project team members

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Working cross-culturally

• Managing multiple and competing priorities

• Demonstrating progress even in times of ambiguity

• Accountability and taking initiative to own the problem and the solution

• Proven success in working independently but with a contribution mindset

Other qualities that will serve the role well that are nice for a candidate to have:

• Thorough understanding of the CRO / Drug Development industry and how Parexel is structured to achieve its Patient First goals

• Thorough understanding of the technologies that support Parexel

• Experience working in a regulated environment
