Job Summary We are seeking a Director/Associate Director for our Facilities team at our Saftey Assessment site located in Mattawan, MI.

A Director / Associate Director forFacilities is responsible for providing strategic direction and accountability for all aspects related to the physical plant, buildings/grounds, real estate, and capacity utilization to maximize the functionality and utilization of the company's physical assets while minimizing the company's risk and verifying compliance with all relevant governmental regulations. The individual in this role oversees the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, buildings and other facilities; develops and manages the site facilities/personnel budget; oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, and facilities expansion; and presents plans and project updates to the site leadership team. Job Qualifications HS/GED degree with 10 or more years of relevant experience; bachelor's degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience; including at least 5 years in a people leader/supervisory role, preferable managing multiple teams; contract research organization experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Demonstrated ability to problem solve, make quick decisions, communicate decisions effectively, and lead/manage staff in a growing, changing environment. Demonstrated knowledge of site facilities and vendor management, GxPs, and industry guidance documents. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization. Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions, including the ability to learn a validated system. Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts; sometimes on short notice. Ability to work under specific time constraints.
