Job Overview
Provide independent high level technical and general accounting services in accordance with Q2 Solutions Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley rules and financial reporting requirements (including local GAAP and tax rules) of the business unit.

Responsibilities
• Support month end process for Q2 Solutions which includes finalizing accounting entries, reconciling P&L and Balance sheet figures within deadlines
• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks- GL, AP & AR process, Asset Management and Inventory
• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities (billing and reconciliation)
• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements and statutory tax filing requirement, internal and external audits
• Ensure that accounting records are thoroughly maintained in preparation for independent audits.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents and government authorities where required
• Manage timely completion of detailed accounts reconciliation and follow-up/resolving open items for specified tasks.
• Work closely with Shared Services Centre to manage A/P and staff claims
• Maintain adequate and current documentation of internal control.
• Ensure that all processes and decisions are in line with Q2 Solutions SOPs and local legal requirements.
• Review and provide recommendations on an ongoing basis to automate/improve existing financial processes and implement new processes where opportunities exist
• Participate in or manage Finance related projects as needed.
• Where applicable, ensure appropriate communication with all business partners and support business partners in financial decisions, if required.
• Maintain a solid working knowledge of technical accounting skills.
• May assume overall responsibility for small size legal entity or regional tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Accounting
• Min. 5-8 years’ experience in relevant experience
• Knowledge of General Ledger accounting.
• Knowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion and Oracle
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong Technical accounting, analytical and numeracy skills.
• Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
• Maintain an inquisitive attitude/mind towards routine tasks
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
