Position Summary
Medical Sales Representative are responsible for the results of the product or product groups allocated to the target. Because of his/her excellent product knowledge, he/she is the contact person for this target group and he/she will identify the customer’s needs.
Key Tasks and Deliverables
As an e-medical Sales Representative, he/she will serve as the critical link between medical and pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. He/she will be responsible for promoting a particular therapy area or individual product in his/her territory through the phone or dynamic platform with visual support, building valuable partnerships with critical healthcare decision makers. He/she will be responsible for sending one-on-one emails to the healthcare professionals, with information about the products/pharmaceutical companies, follow-up of medical samples and requests for information made by the healthcare professionals. He/she will use his/her sales, negotiation and disease / therapy expertise to position and differentiate the products – which may include prescription drugs or medical devices – from the competition. And, he/she will be challenged with understanding and satisfying customer needs to close the deal.

Skills and Experience
• Experienced Medical Sales Representative (6-12 months minimum)
• Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc)
• Responsible, with strong integrity
• Confident, professional phone manner, with presence while speaking
• Articulate and personable individuals
• Highly motivated and results orientated
• Good IT and planning skills
• The successful individual will bring demonstrable sales achievements along with clear and concise communication skills, high levels of self-motivation and organizational ability, strong IT skills, and knowledge of hyperlinks/databases. A positive and professional telephone manner with a drive to achieve targets is also required.
