Submission for the position: Senior / Executive Director, Business Development - HEOR & Market Access (Evidera, Remote Based) - (Job Number: 177484)

The Senior/Executive Director, Business Development will be responsible for the business development efforts supporting the HEOR & Market Access practice areas of Evidera while collaborating with the commercial and scientific/consulting teams within Evidera/PPD. Additional responsibilities include oversight and management of designated client accounts and all financial aspects of new and existing client relationships to help ensure corporate financial objectives for business development are achieved. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive global strategies to identify, prioritize and develop client relationships to support Evidera’s business objectives, with a particular focus on the HEOR and Market Access practice areas. Provide commercial leadership to scientists as it relates to their business development efforts. Increase Evidera’s presence with global biotech, specialty, and pharma clients. Work with commercial and practice area leadership to review and convert funnel of HEOR and Market Access opportunities. Achieve financial targets and stated results on a consistent basis, making best use of the sales data and CRM tools available. Develop a predictable pipeline of new and return business Extend client relationship through the introduction of new services/platforms. Contribute to winning proposals and commercially sound contracts through the development of repeatable processes and compelling content. Collaborate internally to develop competitive pricing structures. Ensure internal and external compliance with all relevant ethical, regulatory, and legal standards. Domestic and International travel at 50% or more based on client accounts.

Minimum Requirements:

Education Bachelor / University degree. Graduate degree at the master’s level; PhD, MD or PharmD level preferred. 15 years of related experience - specifcially across HEOR (health economics and outcomes research) & Market Access space within the global market 7 years of management / leadership responsibility Expert business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area(s). Advanced leadership skills.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities Demonstrated insights into evolving trends e.g. value-based pricing, comparative effectiveness. Strong network of professional relationships within the pharmaceutical industry as well as key decision pricing and market access making bodies. Substantive knowledge of FDA and international regulatory requirements and ICH/GCP guidelines with a strong working knowledge of clinical study design and safety management issues. Must be able to clearly articulate Evidera’s offerings to the marketplace and promote the broad array of service and software offerings to the internal and external market. Must be a talented consensus builder with success at managing multilevel organizational dynamics. Experience and/or proven aptitude for commercial sales with exposure to lead tracking tools such as Saleforce.com or other third-party products. Fluency in all basic computer skills with an emphasis on MS Excel and the ability to develop profitability and ROI models and reports. Must have demonstrated experience preparing detailed budgets, sales projections and sales compensation plans.
