Job Description Summary
IQVIA has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A position located in Wayne, PA. The incumbent in this role will partner with the business leadership team to drive & maintain the financial accounts for certain holding companies and coordinate and manage various aspects of the financial consolidation process including the inter-company matching process and the loading of eliminations.

Essential Functions
o Business partner for allocated business lines and functions within IQVIA’s Clinical Technology.
o Prepare and maintain accruals, prepaids and allocations of business unit financials, with necessary backups for audit.
o Assist in the preparation for financial analysis of actual, forecast and budget figures and identify key trends as appropriate for business unit.
o Maintain detailed understanding of internal customer requirements and develop processes that will meet or exceed these requirements.
o Responsible for updating financial decks for Clinical Technology, upload updates to forecast & plan in our financial reporting tools.
o Assist BU finance director with analytics and summaries for senior leadership reviews.
o Ensure all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and complete in preparation for independent audits.
o Coordinate the inter-company matching through effective and timely communication of differences to all parties involved and then following through to ensure correcting entries are provided to eliminate differences.
o Prepare any topside journal report for distribution to finance staff for them to enter in their general ledgers to ensure consistency with the Hyperion database.
o Ensure compliance with internal financial accounting procedures and policies relevant to the scope of this role.
o Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
o Bachelor's Degree Req
o 5 years’ experience in accounting Req Or
o Equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Req
o Knowledge of General Ledger accounting.
o Knowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP & PeopleSoft. Other systems like COUPA and PSA are advantages.
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
o Technical accounting skills.
o Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
o Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
o Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
o Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
