Gynuity Health Projects start a clinical trial to obtain data on feasibility of telemedicine medical abortion

This pilot study is designed to obtain data on the safety, acceptability, and feasibility of providing abortion by direct-to-patient telemedicine and mail.

The non-profit reproductive health organization has initiated clinical trials in USA and plans to enroll 2500 participants.

This clinical trial started on October 1, 2020 and its completion is expected in 2022.

The medically ineligible for procedure is exclusion criteria.
