Field Manager

The Field Manager provides leadership to assigned IQVIA representatives in order to assist client managers and or project leads in achieving performance objectives. They monitor progress towards meeting and exceeding existing metrics and KPI’s; this is accomplished by achieving field day requirements and through effective coaching, mentoring & utilization of resources aligned with our customer’s expectations.

Specifications:

  • Recruit, interview candidates.
  • Responsible for performance reviews, resolving personnel issues, discipline and termination as necessary
  • Communicate with AbbVie Project management on regular and timely basis.
  • Ride along on field visits in order to: assess and monitor field activity and work schedules; monitor and manage field reporting; and implement performance or disciplinary plans.
  • Prepare monthly individual and project summary reports for AbbVie.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of training and AbbVie periodic meetings.
  • Review and approve expense reports; monitor compliance with AbbVie’s expense policies.
  • Monitors all compliance responsibilities.
  • Monitors time and attendance.
  • Fully comply with all state and federal laws and guidelines, including, without limitation, those laws relating to interactions with healthcare providers, with the PhRMA Code for Interactions with Healthcare Providers, and relevant AbbVie Guidelines.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 4 year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Pharmaceutical Management experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years field sales experience in the pharmaceutical/health care industry with demonstrated success in sales performance required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a district towards meeting and exceeding objectives
  • Strong leadership, planning and organization, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and council in the field to reinforce program objectives.
  • Strong work ethic and customer focus orientation
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong Customer Management skills
  • Ability to travel overnight as required
