The Role:

As a revenue accountant in the Finance Team you will assist in revenue recognition, forecasting, reporting and reconciliations and be responsible for a portfolio of projects and recognize revenue across the organizations departmental structureRevenue calculations and analysis for a portfolio of studiesPreparation of the monthly revenue reports and analysis, comparing actual revenue versus forecast with supporting explanations and calculations for variancesAssisting with monthly reports on KPIs (forecast, backlog, utilisation) for use in Corporate Reporting and profitability analysisUpdating financial systems with contractual arrangements with clients, staff deployment on projects (staff plans) and deliverables achievedPerforming reconciliations of contracts and revenues recognisedLiaising with the billing team regarding unbilled revenue balances and assessing revenue impact of sameEnsure revenue is recognised within US GAAP and SOX guidelines i.e. relevant controls, documentation, signoffs, and filing are in place.

What you will need: Business/Finance degree and Ideally a Qualified (ACCA, CIMA etc.) or bothMinimum of 3 years strong experience in an analytical roleOracle Financials experience preferableGood knowledge/experience with MS ExcelGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work to tight deadlines with an absolute commitment to accuracyDemonstrate an ability to manage own work in an efficient manner and to work with a high degree of own initiative and ownership
