Support the on-site HR function for Microbial Solutions Dublin. Work with senior management, accounting, sales, warehouse, quality, customer service, and scientific staff to ensure best practices.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Assist in the maintenance, development and updating of procedures and policies within the Human Resources function ensuring that the organization operates within the legal and “best practice” guidelines. Oversee the internal Success Factor Platform for the hiring process to include the creation of requisitions, onboarding of all staff and update and maintenance of all personnel details in the system in addition to reference checking, drafting offers of employment and co-ordinating pre-employment medicals, ensuring that the company is an “equal opportunities” employer. Host, in-person, onboarding training & co-ordinate cultural onboarding for all new starts in conjunction with global onboarding ambassadors. Manage the time and attendance system to ensure accurate records are maintained. Prepare documentation (leavers, starters, salary reviews) and ensure the Time Management system is up to date for payroll processing. Assist in the day-to-day function of the HR Department including resolving employee issues and ensuring all practices are within the legal parameters and adhere to company policy. Work with department managers and the management team to create a productive workforce in line with company strategies Facilitate sensing and regular updates from employees through departmental visits, exit interviews, attendance at departmental meetings and sensing sessions. Administer the Death in Service, Company Private Healthcare Scheme and Pension scheme as required. Management of Organisation Charts & support of European Org Charts as required. In conjunction with the HR Director, monitor training and development needs of the site with the management team. Provide training and/or coordinate and monitor external training programs to ensure ongoing effectiveness. Oversee internal training matrices in line with departmental managers. Support the annual appraisal process across the site by running training sessions and monitoring dashboards in conjunction with the HR Department. Serve as a role model for effective time management, communication and utilization of resources. Produce and maintain reports, contracts and metrics as required. Serve as a liaison with site Sr. Managers and corporate departments in various initiatives and ongoing projects. Be a team member of site initiatives such as CSR, S&S engagement functions, spotlight awards, etc. Assist in H&S activities, committee meetings, reporting, etc as required. Ensure accurate, high-quality work, and adherence to pertinent departmental policies, practices and procedures. Support HR dept with other European initiatives as they arise with some expectation to travel within Europe on occasion. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications

  Education: A third-level qualification in an HR discipline or equivalent would be preferred. Experience 3-5 year’s related experience preferred An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above
