Job Summary

We are seeking a Digital Experience Specialist, SEO and SEM. This remote position will work within our Corporate Marketing Department.

BASIC SUMMARY:  Responsible for the implementation of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM). Use web analytics tools and external consultants to communicate performance, identify trends, and drive strategic decisions on content and web functionality. Work with the Digital Experience Lead, SEO/SEM to guide the marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment of corporate goals within and between businesses of the website. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Act as a strategic SEO consultant and partner to the marketing teams 
  • Perform keyword research and make keyword recommendations 
  • Pull web page analyses and make UX recommendations 
  • Identify and act on new areas of opportunity for SEO, Google Ads, & UX improvement 
  • Implement minor webpage updates 
  • Track results of UX and keyword implementations 
  • Assist in creation of quarterly SEO & Google Ads reports 
  • Follow up with team members for SEO approvals and updates on outstanding tasks 
  • Educate team members on SEO, Google Ads, and UX best practices 
  • Assist in vendor management of external digital marketing agency 

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in communications, marketing, advertising, or related discipline. 
  • Experience: 3+ years of directly related marketing communications experience, including web content, SEO, and Google Ads  
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. 
  • Ability to quickly learn and problem solve. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Drupal or similar content management systems, SEMRush or similar SEO tools, and Microsoft Office products required

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $60-70K. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
