Who are we looking for?

Accounting Specialist

Purpose:

  • Deliver specific accounting tasks to ensure timely and accurate accounting in accordance with IQVIA Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), US GAAP, as well as local GAAP and tax rules.
  • Manage Expense Reports/Cash Advances/Requisitions auditing based on the Romanian legislation and internal policies and procedures
  • Support and guidance for colleagues related to Travel & Expenses and Purchasing Module
  • Bank statements review on a weekly basis according to payments queries
  • Ensure archiving, printing, collecting all financials documents as per Romanian legislation
  • Set-up the new suppliers in the system and follow-up for Requisitions/PO’s/Receipt and payments;
  • Perform special projects as needed.

Skills and abilities

  • Detail-oriented and responsible person with pro-active/can-do approach, able to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken communication)
  • Ability to work in a team, but also take ownership and work independently
  • Growth mindset

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge:

  • High school or equivalent diploma and a minimum of 0-2 years prior related experience and / or / University degree in related field.
  • Solid PC skills, including an intermediate to advanced competency level in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, Value functions, …).
  • Experience with PeopleSoft and Concur is a plus.
  • Professional command of both Romanian and English language is required.
