Who are we looking for?
Accounting Specialist
Purpose:
- Deliver specific accounting tasks to ensure timely and accurate accounting in accordance with IQVIA Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), US GAAP, as well as local GAAP and tax rules.
- Manage Expense Reports/Cash Advances/Requisitions auditing based on the Romanian legislation and internal policies and procedures
- Support and guidance for colleagues related to Travel & Expenses and Purchasing Module
- Bank statements review on a weekly basis according to payments queries
- Ensure archiving, printing, collecting all financials documents as per Romanian legislation
- Set-up the new suppliers in the system and follow-up for Requisitions/PO’s/Receipt and payments;
- Perform special projects as needed.
Skills and abilities
- Detail-oriented and responsible person with pro-active/can-do approach, able to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills (written and spoken communication)
- Ability to work in a team, but also take ownership and work independently
- Growth mindset
Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge:
- High school or equivalent diploma and a minimum of 0-2 years prior related experience and / or / University degree in related field.
- Solid PC skills, including an intermediate to advanced competency level in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, Value functions, …).
- Experience with PeopleSoft and Concur is a plus.
- Professional command of both Romanian and English language is required.
