  • Provide experienced, comprehensive and advanced technical expertise as part of a team to develop and maintain clinical systems to meet internal and external client’s needs. Plan and coordinate database design and development for local, regional, or transnational use. Provide leadership to the Clinical System’s department in the area of technical expertise.


Essential Functions

  • Serve as Lead Development team member for customer integrations
  • Plan and coordinate design, development, implementation, maintenance, and user support of clinical systems.
  • Provide advanced technical expertise in conjunction with internal and external clients.
  • Program, test, and document in accordance with programming standards and validation procedures.
  • Understanding of service oriented and API based integration in complex Enterprise Application Integration environments
  • Ability to develop, configure and implement interfaces and data loads using batch modules
  • Comfortable with Agile as well as waterfall software development
  • Work with other development and support teams to identify issues, debug and resolve in timely manner
  • Work with the client counterpart to define data mapping and interface agreements
  • Experience implementing APIs using APIled connectivity, API design fast approach using various MuleSoft product stack like Designer, Exchange, API gateway etc.
  • Guide a team effort to develop / configure interfaces and to implement the interfaces and data load/ETL using batch modules..
  • Proficient in Dataweave transformation. Exposure in java & groovy is a plus.
  • Experience in Maven based project development and testing automation of mule flows using munit framework.
  • Understanding and experience of Java Messaging Services (JMS and Anypoint MQ.)
  • Experience with capacity planning, scalability, performance, load testing Understanding of and ability to invoke web services - REST (with RAML or JSON/XML), SOAP (with WSDL).
  • Ability to debug using tools like SOAPUI. Hands-on experience on writing RAML files for invoking REST API and SOAP API's.
  • Proficiency in web service design using RAML, WSDLs, Swagger.
  • Experience in implementing out of box and custom policies using API gateway product
  • Experience in Cloudhub and customer hosted deployment.
  • Experience in Http, JMS, DB, SFTP connectors
  • Experience integrating Saas products like Salesforce
  • Program database manipulations and transfers of data for internal and external clients.
  • Mentor other team members and Lead Programmers in training and developing technical and/or database expertise.
  • Collaborate with teams in evaluating and/or developing and implementing new technologies.
  • Develop, revise, and maintain core operating procedures and working instructions with CDP management.
  • Meet milestones as assigned, and interact with the project team to organize timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with teams and external clients.
  • May interact with other team members to negotiate timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer/life science or related field Req
  • 5 years of relevant work experience Req Or Equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft development, including areas such as ESB Enterprise Edition, CloudHub, and/or API Management
  • 2+ years of Java, SOAP, REST, JSON, Hibernate, Spring
  • Experience in writing MUnit test cases and Test Driven Development, CI/CD experience
  • MuleSoft Developer Certification is good to have
  • Clinical Data Programming: Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Application Integrations
  • Experience on developing end points with Mulesoft is a must
  • Transformation of elements and massaging the data from relevant sources
  • Solid understanding of clinical drug development process
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and technical database skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
