Medical Director-Oncology

<h2≥Job Overview:</h2≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥Reporting to the APAC Oncology Medical Head, the primary role of the incumbent will be to serve as a physician providing subject matter and drug development expertise. He/she will be expected to be a key contributor to the medical strategy and execution of clinical programs. Furthermore, the Medical Director will play a key role in client relations, and business development representing Covance in proposals and industry meetings as needed. </p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥<strong≥Additional responsibilities include</strong≥</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Medical data review</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Develop, review and revise protocol, CRF, training materials, code/data tables, listing and figures</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Actively participates and assists in preparations for investigator meetings</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Medical and safety monitoring</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Participates in project risk assessment activities</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Provides clinical and medical expertise to other Covance departments</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Contribute to the scientific strategic leadership for a given therapeutic area</p≥<h2≥Education/Qualifications:</h2≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-MD degree with specialization in Oncology preferred</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Board Certification history</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Relevant sub specialty fellowship training</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-excellent communication and interpersonal skills</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-ability to travel globally</p≥<h2≥Experience:</h2≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-A minimum of 5 years clinical research experience within a pharma or CRO environment</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Previous experience in medical practice/patient care</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-Experience supporting Phase I-IV clinical trails</p≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥-strong knowledge and experience with oncology clinical trails</p≥
