Evidera is seeking an experienced Executive Director with proven business development, client management, and team management skills to drive the success of the practice. Evidera provides strategic support to executives at leading Biopharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Health IT companies. Our work leverages primary research, data analysis, and extensive experience to support critical commercial and development decisions for corporations in the healthcare sector through portfolio strategy, market and opportunity assessment, commercial due diligence, go-to-market strategies, competitive strategy, and product commercialization.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Support the growth of the practice offerings in the specific solution areas of market opportunity assessment, go to market strategies, competitive strategy, and product development and commercialization Design a systematic business development approach to growing core clients while obtaining and managing new clients Provide thought leadership and innovation within Evidera Leverage institutional knowledge, subject-matter expertise, and broad business acumen to leverage superior project outcomes Support development of intellectual capital to emphasize Evidera’ unique value proposition in the marketplace Motivate, coach, and serve as a role model for practice team members Manage profitability at the project and practice level Take part in designing the strategy for growth of the practice globally Help in developing unique end-to-end integrated evidence solutions for targeted clients founded on core commercial and development capabilities Draw insights from complex financial and quantitative analysis and integrate these insights and findings across work streams and come up with overall plan to drive strategy and solution development Develop strategies and operating models focused on multiple business units and assess likely competitive responses Manage proposals and business development efforts and coordinate with other colleagues to create consensus driven deliverables Lead a project across Service Lines and manage client and stakeholders’ expectations Develop trust-based relationships with clients and manage client expectations Can work with client leadership to reprioritize activities/alter plans as required and can influence clients to secure cooperation for action Lead by example, setting a tone of cross-practice collaboration and innovative thinking on how Evidera can solve a broad range of customer problems.

Managerial Duties: Collaborate with senior leadership in identifying and growing new talent, while providing professional development and support for existing staff. Maintain personnel responsibility including hiring, coaching, performance management and employee relations for the team.

Education, Professional Skills & Experience Minimum 10-15 years of consulting experience with a top healthcare consulting firm Demonstrated success within a management consulting context, with proven abilities to attract, acquire and develop client relationships Required: Post-graduate degree from a top tier university or college in a related discipline An established network within the healthcare sector Executive-level presence and communication Comfort working with and leading groups, as well as sensitivity to the individual, group, and organizational dynamics Creative, “big picture” thinking while maintaining a keen attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks (business development, client management, project management, team management, firm leadership) Excellent verbal and written communication Excellent people management skills

Working Conditions and Environment: Exposure to high pressure, intense concentration needed Must pay constant attention to detail-visual, mental Must be able to multi-task constantly Frequent interaction with clients / associates required Long, varied hours required occasionally Travel and rotating shifts required on rare occasions Exposure to toxic materials on rare occasions
