Job Overview:
The IQVIA Internal Medicine Therapeutic Delivery Unit (TDU) is a global team of professionals dedicated to assisting our customers in driving healthcare forward and enabling medical breakthroughs that advance healthcare and patient treatment options around the world. We are seeking a seasoned program Director with seasonal antiviral expertise to join our innovative and dynamic group.
As a Director providing program delivery oversight, you will work with assigned Clinical Project Managers and project teams to drive quality and on-time delivery of clinical development programs while ensuring profitability and customer service. You will be relied upon to support corporate business objects and contribute to continuous quality improvement, and as a leader within the Internal Medicine delivery unit and IQVIA you will use your skills and expertise to motivate the teams and resources within your remit, grow the portfolio and mentor / support development our internal talent.

Candidates with relevant experience in the following areas will be ideally matched for this critical role:
Treatment and prevention of seasonal indications like Influenza and RSV
Antivirals for COVID-19, HIV, Hepatitis B or C
Global vaccine trials in any age population
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field and 10 years clinical research experience including 6 years leadership experience, including multi-regional and global focus OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Previous program oversight experience with proven results
Experience managing team members at the Project Manager level or above
Extensive experience in the bid defense process
Specific therapeutic experience in infectious disease as outlined above
Strong project financial acumen
Comprehensive knowledge of ICH-GCP
Soft skills required include: excellent communication, planning, decision-making, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% as needed
