Strategic Projects Manager

This role will work with senior management and provides the opportunity to be part of a small impactful team that helps to shape and deliver IQVIA’s People Analytics Roadmap. The project will focus on implementation and ongoing updates to Analytics solutions as well as develop recommendations for ongoing improvements to system-embedded dashboard solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated former consultant that wants to immediately get involved in driving the implementation and associated change management needed to embed innovative data solutions.  Seeking an intellectually curious individual with strong project management, communication skills (verbal and slide formats) and experience working with data and technology projects.

Essential Functions:

•    Support the implementation of strategic projects - designing and managing the scope of work, objectives, timelines, quality of deliverables and activities on projects and delivering assigned activities 
•    Manage analytics roadmap implementation, including understanding of needs and requirements, integration of new data sets into analytics platform, partnership with analytics vendor to ensure quality and timely delivery and design of ongoing approach to update roadmap with new features 
•    Develop impactful dashboards in analytics platform and generate associated change management collateral to teach HR community to use analytics
•    Create and present value-added insights and solutions through development of logical and high quality deliverables (PowerPoint slides, analyses, communications, etc.)
•    Develop strategic approach and execution of analyses and models supporting financial, statistical and qualitative data analysis
•    Willingness and interest in pursuing primary and secondary research to create recommendations and supporting business cases, as required
•    Work towards the development of industry-leading knowledge management capabilities – enabling the team to effectively share and collaborate across the information and deliverables developed to meet analytics needs
•    Make connections across workstreams and stakeholders to improve efficiency, drive adoption and increase impact, as appropriate
•    Work with internal business stakeholders to enhance their use of strategic analysis and business intelligence while ensuring that the appropriate communication channels are maintained
•    Develop relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify emerging needs and business challenges
•    Contribute to strategy development activities (including new projects, as they arise)
•    Adhere to data protection and data privacy requirements for deliverables

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business/Finance, Marketing Required
•    Master's Degree preferred
•    Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
•    A minimum of 3-7 years relevant business experience in management consulting, business intelligence, corporate strategy, marketing or finance, or other comparable combination of education, training and experience
•    High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
•    Strong attention to detail in deliverable creation
•    Problem-solving skills including an analytical, innovative and creative mindset
•    Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
•    Experience on large-scale projects bridging both strategy and operations
•    Interest in learning new concepts and approaches as part of project work 
•    Good understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries
•    Highly proficient English language skills
