Business Analyst

Facilitate communication between the customer (Client, Project Manager and Medical Director), management, and software development. The Requirements Analyst translates the “lingo” spoken by each constituency

 Contribute creative solutions by initiating and eliciting ideas from others

 Clearly document agreements and open issues in the various documents (User Requirements, Requirement Specification, and/or Functional Specification)

 Understand current product offerings and exiting solutions and their potential to meet the customer requirements

 Understand and document business processes, driving consistency within projects and products

 Work to ensure that Parexel moves toward a common and standardize application model

 Operate with direction, interfacing with all members of assigned project teams to ensure the identification, documentation, and understanding of business and functional requirementsQualificationsDevelop and provide leadership in developing project requirements, including elicitation, analysis and negotiation and management of requirements

 Develop requirements specifications (may include user and functional requirements) in support of multiple project efforts

 Maintain product templates for use in support of project efforts

 Assist in peer documentation reviews

 Validate requirements to ensure that all project requirements have been stated unambiguously, and that inconsistencies, omissions, and errors have been detected and corrected
