Proposal Manager, Pre-Sales

As Proposals & Contract Manager you will work closely with Business Development, Medical and Clinical Operations, Recruitment, Project Management, Laboratory Services, Pharmacy and Clinical Data Services and Feasibility and Clinical Strategy to perform appropriate client / indication research and protocol feasibility review to support proposal development:Contact clients as needed to discuss timelines, questions, expectations, deliverables, etc.Lead/Participate in strategy meetings to:Identify client requirementsIdentify possible medical, logistic, costing and/or regulatory issues in order to support the accurate assessment of each projectRecommend proposal and study conduct strategy, and internal resourcing, based on experienceLead senior management and multi-disciplinary discussions to assure full and high quality inputEstablish agreement on timelines and deliverables from the strategy meeting, and follow-up to ensure adherenceCreate client specific proposal text to:Accurately reflect strategy discussionsMeet Parexel and client needs / expectationsAssure accuracy and appropriateness of text and attachmentsPrepare budgets to:Reflect both Parexel and client needsAssure accuracy, consistency and competitiveness of budgetsFacilitate pricing discussions with appropriately identified key decision makersEnsure appropriate and accurate mapping to client budget specificationsProvide quality deliverable to strict deadlinesParticipate in client calls related to Requests for Proposals, budget discussions, Requests for Information, etc., as neededMay participate in proposal defense meetings with clientsQualificationsSkills:Lead proposal development with a sense of urgency, initiative, and diplomacyWell-developed problem-solving, negotiation and analytical skillsFlexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learningAbility to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workloadWillingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork.Confident to deal with all internal staff levelsHighly organized with good oral and written communication skillsComprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases)Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Business or equivalentEEO DisclaimerParexel is an equal opportunity employer.  Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to legally protected status, which in the US includes race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
