Managing Consultant/Team Leader (India)

Position Overview

This is a new position focused on establishing and leading a team of Business Analysts to

support Evidera’s growing global business and support development of Evidera’s presence in

the area of Market Access Consulting. Collaborating with senior leaders on the global

business strategy in place. Provide in-depth knowledge of the market to identify and develop

new business opportunities to support practice area’s AOP sales and revenue targets. Lead all

phases of project delivery, which include appropriate client liaison; strategic guidance;

content expertise; internal team leadership; quality control.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Leadership of project teams of Business Analysts to support the development and

delivery of payer strategies and market access projects for pharmaceutical company

clients.

• Contribute to the growth of the Evidera Market Access business: build enduring client

relationships, contribute to the development of consulting offerings, and contribute

to the visibility and market stature of the group.

• Successful business development with existing accounts and development of new

clients.

• With limited senior management input, review and analyze client requirements or

problems and lead in the development of proposals that ensure profitability and high

client satisfaction.

• Provide high level input to and ensure development of the design, structure and

delivery of client reports and presentations that are appropriate to the needs of the

audience.

Consulting Expectations: Active participation in core elements of projects, including client

liaison, development of project-specific discussion guide materials, selection of key payer

decision makers to be included in the project, undertaking a proportion of payer discussions,

input to analysis and presentation development, delivery of project results.

Managerial Duties: Line management, recruitment coaching, mentoring and development

responsibilities for employees.

Education, Professional Skills & Experience

• A base undergraduate degree with ideally post-graduate qualification in life sciences,

economics, or health policy.

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or

pharmaceutical consultancy industry. Most this experience should have been gained

in commercial functions, and ideally would include expertise in one or more of the

following areas:

o Global Pricing, Market Access or Health Economics

o US Pricing, Reimbursement and Market Access

o Business development (M&A, licensing)

o Business/commercial analysis

o Consultancy

o Strategic planning

• In-depth knowledge of pricing, reimbursement and market access including

commercial, Medicare, Medicaid plans.

• Expertise in global payer research and pricing, reimbursement, and market access

strategies.

• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical commercial planning process.

• Good knowledge of major health systems and pricing and reimbursement processes.

• Broad therapeutic knowledge base.

• Insights to evolving trends e.g. value-based pricing, comparative effectiveness.
