Description:
- Work closely with the Stats and Commercial teams to analyze project requirements, program in an efficient and sustainable format, while ensuring client timelines and expectations are met.
- Resolve queries by investigating issues and composing responses.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment meeting milestones and deliverable dates with limited supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements. Provide guidance on complexity and time requirements.
- Follow project requirements in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner using SAS and/or SQL
- Develop code following the team’s standard practices
- Complete thorough documentation of code
- Format results to meet client specifications including extensive QA
- Maintain existing code
- Support the monthly Production of deliverables
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent
- Minimum two years SAS programming experience in SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, and SQL programming on a Windows platform with a strong emphasis on SAS/Macro
- Basic Unix experience
- VBA knowledge and experience
- Ad-hoc reporting experience with longitudinal data
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills (English is essential)
- Demonstrated adaptability and innovation
- Demonstrated time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge and experience working with large databases
- Working knowledge of Excel, Access and Unix
- Keen attention to detail
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Background Pluses:
- SAS BASE, MACRO and Advanced certifications
- Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical analysis
