The Role:

The Manager, Performance and Reward Manager will be responsible for supporting a sustainable high performance culture through the design and implementation of comprehensive performance and reward programs.

This is high level role for a decision maker, influencer and trusted advisor with proven successes in creating and contributing to international reward strategy. A track record of advanced technical skills across compensation and benefits, coupled with strong ability to transform reward strategy in line with business performance will be required in order to discharge the role and grow within the organization

Responsibilities:

In conjunction with the Senior Director Performance & Reward, formulate a reward strategy that fosters a robust performance management culture throughout the organisation for all employees;

Develop a meaningful and targeted reward system that aligns with ICON's business objectives and maintains a competitive and equitable global reward structure that will attract, engage, recognise and reward high performing employees;

Take ownership for design, delivery, communication & metrics for Global Performance & Reward Annual Cycle; and Global Stock Programs; including all procedural compliance requirements through developing strong collaborative relationships with Finance & Legal.

Analyse, measure and report on various components related to total reward issues, including advice to support business leaders regarding interpreting policy and plans to support employee retention;

Input to reward strategy, and develop recommendations to leadership and HR teams for opportunities to drive efficiency and cost effectiveness;

Work closely with HRBPs, HR COEs, & Regional HR Leaders to ensure a comprehensive and continuous link between performance and reward;

Develop and drive a strategy to achieve a high performance culture of execution and personal accountability;

Collaborate on M&A integration activity to ensure appropriate change management activities are scoped to ensure success of global program delivery for acquired employee groups;

Direct the efficient management of vendor performance and relationships to ensure all performance commitments are satisfied and ICON are receiving the highest level of service;

Continually review existing processes to maximise efficiency levels and seamless delivery of services.

Role Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HR and a minimum of 5 years in an EMEA / APAC / US/ global performance and rewards leadership role;

Strategic vision for performance and reward and a track record of successfully implementing creative, world-class total performance and rewards programs;

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with strong personal development in self-awareness, listening & empathy to recognize and understand the diverse needs of the businesses;

Understanding of business strategies, competitive challenges and the financial impact of HR decisions;

Strategic thinking and decision-making skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mind-set are essential;

Results orientated with a strong drive to improve business results, an ability to make decisions;

Must be an excellent communicator (oral and written) and possess strong facilitation skills;

Previous budget and people leadership experience;

Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
