Parexel has an exciting opportunity for Home based, Senior Resource Management Analyst to support the global resourcing for Launch Excellence and to utilize operational data drivers to support forecasting of resource demand. The role will have a good understanding of in-depth analytics, use of various data sources, and comfortable in resourcing tradeoffs/ negotiations. Engages with various levels of role within Launch Excellence to influence resource related decisions and challenge assumptions. The role will adapt resourcing models and processes to an ever-changing operational environment.
Location: 100% remote from any location in the Eastern Standard Time zone.

Knowledge and Experience:
Relevant work experience in CRO or pharmaceutical field; required
Experience in conducting resource reporting and analysis, required
Line management or project management experience preferred
Understanding of clinical research platforms required; preferred
Resource planning experience preferred; 5+ years
AccountabilityResource Strategy Supporting Activities
Leads/supports strategic initiatives for Launch Excellence Resourcing
Serve as point of contact for resource escalations; and lead the resolution of unmet escalation needs
Makes strategic recommendations for resourcing size and mix forecasts
Engage with senior management to understand a need for insight through data; independently structure and perform analysis to provide insight
Drive optimal resourcing decisions, Mentor/coach direct reports and extended teams on use of the same
Evaluate and assist in the development of resource planning tools and databases as needed
Supports the client and project teams in developing the detailed demand plans for new projects and projects with a significant ramp-up or ramp-down in resources
Ensures the correct administration of client ring fence strategies
Develops, records, and tracks Key Performance Indicators of operational resourcing performance and ensures that service delivery is maintained at agreed target levels
Resource Planning and Management
Lead responsibility for a large group of resources from a planning, allocation and forecasting perspective
Good understanding of project risks related to resourcing, with ability to support negotiation alternative resourcing strategies
Lead operational resourcing meetings and seen as a contributor for resourcing decisions
Use resourcing tools, access Parexel systems and consult within the functional stakeholders to drive optimal resourcing decisions,
Maintain oversight of functional resource demand accuracy for upcoming quarters to support demand forecasting
Address daily resource requests and follow up on details as required
Evaluate specific resource needs for proposals/bid defense meetings and awarded studies
Utilize skills and experience database to identify team members for proposals and awarded projects
Utilize the Resource management tool and dashboards to validate for capacity of potential team members
Check with LM’s if potential team members are available for assignment, in exceptional cases contact individual’s directly (if applicable)
Make suggestions for assignments for proposals/bid defense meetings and awarded work (new business, replacements of team members); track and follow up on the assignments, as needed
Resource Oversight
Develop, prepare, and distribute resourcing projection reports (monthly at a minimum or more frequently as needed)
Check for accuracy of entries in Resource management tool and follow up with Study team or Functional contacts, as needed
Run reports to check for mismatch between resourcing hours in Resource management tool and actual hours
Evaluate and assist in the development of resource planning tools and databases as needed
Develop and track metrics relating to Launce Excellence resourcing
General Operations and Initiatives
Maintain a working knowledge of, and assure compliance with, applicable Parexel SOPs, Systems and Operational delivery alignment
Participate in departmental meetings and initiatives, and maintain relationships with other departments as necessary
Complete routine administrative tasks in a timely manner (e.g., timesheets, training, travel expense claims). Ensure compliance with corporate and departmental guidelines where appropriate
Education:
Bachelor’s degree level in scientific or business discipline; advanced degree preferred
