UI/UX Designer II

Purpose

TheUX/UIDesignerII position will work with a project team to visualize, analyze, andcreate user-centric experiencesforkey clinical researchproducts.This position willbe responsible for identifying innovative solutions that meet the specified requirements and add value to the business. As a member of project teams, theUX/UIDesignerIIwill facilitate communication and awareness of the standards and quality expectations of the stakeholders.  He or she will also be the User Experience (UX) voice in application definition.  This person will work to formulate and define the User Experience onprojects: creation of personas; information architecture; design of low/high fidelity wireframes; creation of user flow diagrams and clickable prototypes; andhigh resolutionUI designin accordance with the IQVIA Design System. This is a high-profile role that requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

•Perform requirementselicitationand analysis in order to provide high qualitydigitalexperiences, ensuring the closest involvement with, and agreement from, the user community

•Create prototypes to provide an accurate, graphical user interface representation, thereby facilitating successful solution design and development

•Resolve conflicting end-user requirements

•Leverage IQVIA’s existing enterprise Design System to build consistent Web and Mobile user experiences in our products

•Speak to the details of the design deliverables and user stories, answering questions and resolving ambiguities

•Groom user stories with the scrum team and identify design-related user stories in the backlog

•Collaborate with Global IT Solutions functional groups by adhering to established processes to ensure that business requirements are delivered through successful project implementation of optimal, cost-effective solutions

•Prepare files for asset delivery to developers

•Collaborate with developers to ensure adherence to business requirements and UI design specifications

•Embrace an agile and iterative approach to projects

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

•A portfolio demonstrating a high level of visual aptitude for both Web and Mobile Products•Advanced knowledge of best practices for user interface / user experienceproductdesign

•Demonstrate proficient use of graphical design and prototyping tools 

• Basic understanding of CSS/HTML

•Negotiation and customer management skills

•Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and business concepts to technical audiences

•Advanced understanding of current industry techniques for requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification

•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

•Candidates should possess aBachelor'sdegree, and have a minimum of 3-5 years of business experience, working towards or holding applicable industry accreditation or certification; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
