Job Overview
As part of IQVIA’s Human Data Science Cloud, the Strategic Planning Director will assist with development of new Information Management offerings to support IQVIA’s strategic growth initiatives.  This role will be interacting with Sales and Marketing teams across U.S and Europe, developing customer-facing materials and plans to roll out offerings to in Top 30 pharma HQ as well as mid and emerging pharma.
The ideal candidate will have some level of comfort with ambiguity as this brand-new offering development is tested with clients and refined as we expand in the next couple of years.  Strong collaboration and team leadership skills are a must as well as demonstrated resourcefulness, creativity and a desire to help IQVIA develop the offering set and bring it to market.

Essential Functions
•We are looking for a seasoned, versatile GTM Strategy and Planning Director, who can dive into details while maintaining a strategic mindset. You will be part of a high performing team that develops GTM strategies and plans, and engagement approaches supporting the sales and regional commercial teams.
Specifically, you will:
•    Support and partner with HDSC Offering Head and Global and Regional business unit teams in new offering development efforts
•    Work across the organization's GBU service lines to cross-promote Information Management capabilities
•    Provide strategic advice for sales and revenue growth initiatives
•    Ensure oversight in the maintenance of existing offerings including enhancements, support materials, portfolio review, metrics reporting, and ongoing training.
•    Assist with content development for client-facing messaging, proposals, presentations and other internal and external facing materials. 
•    Assist with build out, adaptation and implementation of pricing models to support IM strategy.
•    Drive alignment and innovation in the way solutions are presented to customer stakeholders across the sales organization.
•    Provide innovation and leadership in consultative pre-sales strategy to drive customer engagement and buy-in.
•    Inform Product & Marketing teams via BU voice of customer/client.
•    Support strategic proposals and presentations.
•    May serve as a global interface to specialty Sales resources that sit within the RBU’s.
•    Support opportunity strategies for TOP30 and targeted accounts and technology solutions.
•    Support definition of engagement plans to grow the TOP30 accounts.
•    Ensure best practice sharing and utilization across accounts and solutions.
•    Orchestrate internal stakeholders to develop commercial opportunities with targeted accounts.
•    Support the development of client presentations and RFI/RFP positioning (implies understanding customer use cases and develop compelling value propositions around these use cases).
•    Develop and maintain an understanding of competition.
•    Provide input back to Delivery and Product teams to continually improve our product offerings based on customer feedback, competitive initiatives and commercial/GTM teams.


Qualifications
•    10+ years of experience in GTM Strategy and Planning or Management Consulting with increasing leadership responsibilities
•    Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
•    Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business-to-business technology sales and organizational practices
•    Hands-on person capable of working and getting outcomes produced in a matrix organization
•    Strong financial, analytical and communication skills with a focus on presenting actionable information
•    Knowledge of any/all of the following: Life Sciences, SaaS products, technology & BPO buying personas and value propositions
