Senior Manager, Business Process Management (Quality)

• Leads projects on development, documentation and improvement of processes, including establishing the infrastructure needed to support the business in understanding, controlling and optimizing their processes.

• Establishment of process architecture and infrastructure within one or more SBUs.

• Performing tasks required to deliver projects including management of stakeholder expectations, scope of work, communication, team management, planning, initiation, execution and closeout.

• Presents an overview of CD management to clients, auditors and government regulatory inspectors.

• Works with Operational teams and others to develop and manage the next generation of CDs using appropriate technology.

• Developing and implementing project plans, as required, for assigned projects.

• Oversee the lifecycle management of CDs, Publishing and Management of Process within the organization.

• Oversee the provisioning of external client access to Parexel CDs.

• Oversee the administration of deviations for the global organization.

• Support Parexel Corporate Quality and Operations in the preparation for and follow up of internal/external audits and inspections as required.

• Lead improvement projects in own group to facilitate continuous growth and high-quality support to the rest of the organization.

• Takes authorship of CDs.

• Developing internal communications supporting process-based culture.

• Initiating escalation of significant quality events to Management as required.

• Support/Guide team members on management of CDs, Deviations and Access to Parexel CDs.

• Manages Business Process Specialists I/II/Senior and Library Manager within the BPM team.

• Line management of Library Manager and Business Process Specialists I/II/Senior.

• BPM capacity planning and resource management.

• Training and mentoring less experienced team members.

• Undertake the full range of duties relevant to the leadership, management and development of the team to ensure their performance meets and or exceeds both the business and their own personal goals/objectives.

• Participate in formal staff review processes e.g. performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescales.

• Support the execution of Parexel Corporate Quality's strategy and Quality Management System (QMS).

• Help to execute the vision, mission and strategy for QSPM.

• As assigned, support execution of the strategic and tactical goals of QSPM for the key QMS elements, including, but not limited to: QMS infrastructure, Management Review, Change Management, Process Optimization, CDs, Knowledge Management, Quality Issue Management and Risk Management.Qualifications• Educated to degree level (technology, biological science, pharmacy or other health related discipline preferred) or equivalent qualification or clinical research experience.

• Master’s degree in a science, technology or industry related discipline, preferred.

• Strong Technological Aptitude / Skill-set

• Significant experience in process consultancy and/or project management or equivalent role in pharmaceutical industry.

• Significant experience in line management is an advantage.

• International / Global experience an advantage.
