In this role, you will work in cross-functional product teams to design and build web-based applications that directly impact drug development teams, clinical trial investigators and, ultimately, patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, empathy for the end-user needs and a strong track record of developing web based solutions. </span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Design and develop frontend and backend of analytical applications and technically lead a small team of developers to execute on this vision.</span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Work closely with the product management and business teams to understand the needs of our customers and quickly iterate to improve the products.</span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Continuously look for new technologies and approaches that enhance our software products.</span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Commitment to excellence, best practices, and the continuous improvement of user experience, code base, processes, innovation and tools.</span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Have a voice and stake in the product by working in partnership with product teams on new ideas, designs, estimates and feature roadmaps.</span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Collaborate with technical teams across Labcorp and external partners on the creation and application of technical roadmaps, standards, tooling and frameworks required to create a modern, high quality, rich application suite.</span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Propose ways to utilize modern technologies to solve business problems – including AI, Digital platforms, and automation.</span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Perform code reviews to ensure quality of programming through standards enforcement, peer code review and automated tools.</span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Guide junior developers in design, coding, configuration, testing and maintenance of software deliverables.</span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Establish and promote agile development principles and best practices for software development.</span></li></ul><h2>Education/Qualifications:</h2><ul><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">BS/MS in computer science, information systems, life sciences, or similar.</span></li></ul><h2>Experience:</h2><ul><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;"><strong>3 years</strong> of demonstrated experience in software development in delivery of custom data-driven software solutions</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Proficiency in any languages and programming skills, such as <strong>C#, Java, Python</strong></span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Experience developing web applications using <strong>HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript</strong></span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Proficiency in Angular and other JavaScript frameworks</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Proficiency with relational databases and SQL</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Deep Experience in RESTful service design and implementation</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Strong understanding of design for security, scalability, performance, and reliability</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Strong demonstration of data structures, algorithms, OO Design, and asynchronous programming</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Experience with agile software development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs and product strategy</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Preferred experience with life science and/or healthcare related data.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Preferred experience
