About the Position:

The Senior Compensation Specialist (referred to as Senior Rewards Specialist at PPD) administers and monitors total rewards programs (compensation, benefits, recognition, perquisites) for assigned regions. The role leads or assists in the design and implementation of programs.

Job Description:

Builds strong relationships to provide consultation, guidance and support to HR partners and line managers on compensation or benefit matters. Incumbents may be responsible for compensation, benefits or both.

Leads or assists in the planning, design, implementation, monitoring and administration of new or complex compensation or benefit programs and projects (e.g. sales incentive, equity plans, or pension schemes).

Analyzes labor and market data to assess competitive position of compensation or benefits programs and develops recommended actions based on findings.

Develops advanced financial models, performs detailed statistical analysis, and prepares reports and presentations.

Provides consultation, guidance and support to HR partners and line managers on compensation or benefit matters.

Researches and analyzes new or revised regulations and legislation; provides assessment of impact and develops recommended actions.

Provides support for merger and acquisition related program integrations and transitions.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5 years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated project leadership and consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clientsAdvanced knowledge of compensation and benefits theories, principles, programs, trends and best practicesAbility to apply advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise to communicate and assist internal clients and managers to understand compensation and benefitsGood business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environmentsExcellent analytical and quantitative skillsAdvanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of dataAbility to work with ambiguity and complexityDemonstrates executive presence and good presentation skillsAbility to influence at all levels of the organization
