The Senior Director, Alliance Management, Europe is responsible for managing a strategic partnership client portfolio from contracting through fulfillment. He/she will foster key relationships within the partnership(s), work with clients to understand their needs and translates them into deliverables. This is a matrix leadership position with accountability for operational delivery.

Key Accountabilities Monitoring performance to ensure Parexel client deliverables are met Assesses client satisfaction and recommends future actions to ensure the overall success of the account Develops cost-effective programs that leverage all opportunities within the scope of the strategic agreement Serves as client’s executive contact for all operational issues, contractual changes, and service level agreements Coordinates and ensures appropriate resource allocation is appropriate so as to meet client expectations Drives cross-functional working relationships and collaborates with global colleagues to deliver seamless service to assigned accounts Establishes short and long-term strategies for assigned client accounts ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and goals Leads the planning and prioritization of programs/projects that engage client partners and support customer deliverables Stays abreast of market trends and identifies opportunities for portfolio efficiencies Oversees portfolio profitability driving year-over-year financial growth Provides management and strategic direction to the business operation/corporate function Participates with senior leadership in developing and authorizing business plans Supports new Preferred Partnership opportunities as applicable QualificationsSkills / Knowledge and Experience Experience working in clinical operations Demonstrated ability to build relationships internally and with clients Commercially minded Excellent business/industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and impact on the business Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles of drug discovery and development Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data Ability to influence others internally and externally Proven success in leading cross-functional teams Excellent communication sills – ability to communicate at executive management level Experience working in a CRO, life sciences, or consulting background specializing in life sciences Demonstrated ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities Education

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

Willing to travel as required by the business
