Summarized Purpose:

The Glassware Inventory Assistant/ Lab Assistant will work in PPD's GMP lab within the glassware team. This position will focus on theglassware inventory, ordering, delivery and stocking for the campus. Additionally, they will be trained in the glassware washing role. This position is full time, working Monday-Friday, 1st shift.

Inventory duties

Experience with inventory control, supply and ordering of laboratory glassware and materials.Organizing and distributing materials across campus, logging in of received materials and ability to communicate clear and concise direction to members of glassware team for inventory concerns.Excel is used throughout duties within position, so experience with Excel would be advantageous.

Glassware wash room duties

Performs assigned tasks such as gathering, washing, drying, and restocking glassware in a highly regulated environment.Performs daily work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:

High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Technical positions may require a certificate Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience. Years of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Years of experience are not to be used as the only determining factor in establishing the job class or making employment selection decisions.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
