The position has remote work flexibility and is based out of Wilmington, MA.

This role will work collaboratively, in a consultative way, across the business units and IT, building modern analytics solutions, supporting and mentoring engineering teams, as well as advising on best approaches to leveraging Azure in the most effective and efficient manner.

The following are responsibilities related to the Senior Data Engineer Interacts with senior level customers to consult on scalable enterprise analytics solutions that provide the business with a competitive advantage. Develops technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Design and build a modern data warehouse in the cloud Design and build a customer 360 Implement a flexible and audible data pipeline Enhance data collection procedures to build analytic systems. Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis. Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear and user-friendly manner Perform testing, resolve issues and automate unit tests. Develop proof-of-concept (POC) solutions to help business units better visualize their business needs and to clarify requirements for development. Qualifications The following are minimum requirements related to the Senior Data Engineer position. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline, Master’s Degree preferred 7+ years of ETL design, development, and performance tuning on Microsoft SSIS in SQL Server 2012 and above (2016 preferable) in a multi-dimensional Data Warehousing environment 7+ years of advanced SQL Programming: PL/SQL, T-SQL 5+ years of Enterprise Data & Analytics solution architecture 2+ years of Power BI experience or Tableau Dashboards/Data Visualizations (Mobile Dashboard experience nice to have) 2+ years of experience with Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Data Catalog, Azure Analysis Services, Databricks, Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure DNS, Virtual Network, Cosmos DB, Azure App Service, Azure Logic Apps, Power BI Premium, and Data Factory. 2+ years of experience implementing Azure Data Solutions for high-availability, disaster recovery and global distribution. 2+ years of experience in defining and enabling data security standards for encryption, auditing, and monitoring. 2+ years of experience with Big Data Management (BDM) for relational and non-relational data (formats like json, xml, avro, parquet, copybook, etc.) 2+ years of experience with setting up and operating data pipelines using Python or SQL

Strongly Desired: 3+ years of SSAS design, development, maintenance and performance tuning on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and above (2016 preferable), with expert MDX and DAX skills 2+ years of experience with Big Data Technologies such as: Hadoop, Sqoop, Hive, Kafka, Spark, Pyspark, Python, Scala or Pig Knowledge of Dev-Ops processes (CI/CD) and infrastructure as code. Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality tools. Strong analytical abilities and a strong intellectual curiosity
