Manage and develop strategy for IQVIA's Market Automation (MA) program to meet marketing goals.  Implement IQVIA's Marketing Automation programs by transforming how IQVIA goes to market, sells and maintains services to new and existing customers while continuing to build and deepen customer relationships. Support leadership of the Marketing organization toward a more fully integrated marketing strategy. Work closely with sales channel and functional team leaders throughout the organization to plan and support growth and retention efforts for IQVIA customers. 

• Lead and collaboratively work with global, cross functional teams to ensure integration with Digital, CRM, sales and marketing teams.
• Manage and grow IQVIA’ Marketing Automation  operations, including:
    ◦     Participate in the defining of the MA vision and set priorities on how IQVIA should and could leverage best practices to increase performance and growth while efficiently managing costs. 
    ◦     Ensure the organization’s MA investments are aligned to the differentiated potential value for each segment’s contribution to growth and margin. 
    ◦     Oversee the planning, execution and measurement of marketing programs  focused on  building familiarity, conditioning the marketing and lead nurturing
• Participate in development of the strategic approach and timing for campaign management strategies across all defined market segments
• Ensure appropriate capabilities are in place to support necessary strategic CRM initiatives.
• Lead strategic and tactical initiatives associated with Marketing Automation efforts.
• Develop insights on effectiveness of marketing automation programs based on development of reports and analysis; make and implement recommendations based on these insights.
• Develop and manage name acquisition strategy for marketing database names.
• Manager the development of personas (defined segments based on behaviors and actions) to fully address segments.
• Manage database vendors including contracts, assign hours and ensuring timely deliverables Lead marketing metrics implementation ensuring integration across website, marketing automation system and other digital products.
• Act as internal Consultant to Marketing across all programs, to ensure metrics are understood and implemented into programs to assess marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 10 years of experience or relevant marketing experience Or
• Equivalent combination if education, training and experience Req
• Industry work experience including direct marketing, database marketing or marketing automation
• Understanding of the principles and practices related to CRM and Marketing Automation, including segmentation and strategy, integrated multi-touch multi-channel communication programs spanning all direct communication channels (on-line and off-line), technical infrastructure supporting program development, deployment and performance assessment
• Understanding of the latest trends in the interactive industry, including but not limited to e-mail, Web development, creative, on-line marketing optimization, on-line analytics, and launch of interactive initiatives.
• Experience working in Salesforce.com platform environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent English speaker
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams
• Ability to analyze large quantity of data, and synthesize it to key insights
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
