The Vice President Program Management is responsible for global client programs and project success in terms of schedule, quality, cost, scope and risk across the companies service portfolio. S/he leads the program management office supporting the companies global project management community in terms of planning, resourcing and service transition. S/he is responsible to define, manage and optimize the Program Management processes, Tools and governance and oversees cost and budgets of the global Program Management function, ensuring flexibility and competency of staff across all service lines across the globe.

The main areas of responsibilities and activities of the Vice President Program Management for Parexel Informatics are:

Customer success Management of client project portfolio through full project life cycle (initiation to decommissioning) across service lines for schedule, scope, cost, quality & risk. Planning, scheduling & resourcing, Ensuring client projects are planned and scheduled with the correct resourcing to deliver on-time, in-full to client. Ensure load and capacity is balanced across service portfolio Transition Management Ensure projects are effectively transitioned through all internal and external project gates through service transition management Performance improvementProactively monitor business metrics and identify improvement and transformation opportunities to drive reduction in variability/defects in critical business processes. Training & developmentTraining & develop of PM community to recognized standards, ensure qualified individuals are available to be deployed thought the function across service lines. Functional excellence Ensure that PMprocesses, tools and governance are optimized and maintained to deliver highly effective project management function meeting quality and regulatory standards.Learning organization Ensuring feedback loop and learning is embedded into future processes, platform development requests an innovation opportunity. Collaboration Build and maintain relationships with operational functional and service line heads as well as other key business stakeholders to deliver customer

success.

Location: The position is office based. We are open to hire either in the UK, Nottingham or in Romania, Bucarest.

Formal project Management Certifications and / or accreditations
