A Project Specialist I
* works closely with the Project Leader and Functional Leads on project management tasks during the entire project life cycle, contributing to achievement of study deliverables.
* will be predominantly assigned to late phase and enterprise projects however, depending on the acquired experience and independence, an assignment to early phase projects and Biotech & Emerging client’s projects can be considered.
Project Initiation Management:
* Updating and customizing of systems and tools according to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Project Execution and Control Management:
* Study reporting and analysis with subsequent highlighting issues for project team.
* Maintenance of systems and tools according to applicable SOP's
Project Integration Management:
* Responsible for drafting a consistent coherent project management plan, including coordinated planning of the different project activities and input from the different functions.
* The plan covers all parts of the project to be integrated together (scope, Change in Scope, risk plan, quality plan, communication plan, schedule, procurement plan, and resource plan).
* Responsible for updating the project plan as needed and collaborating with the Project Leader (PL) to execute the plan and close the project.
Project Meeting Management:
* Project meetings preparation and attendance;
* support preparation of required information for project review meeting;
* reporting of owned responsibilities during meeting attendance;
* support tracking and follow-up of action items
Project Vendor Management:
* Collaborate with PL and Functional Leaders (FL's) to ensure study supplies are delivered as required and according to contract obligation.
* Assist PL with vendor selection
Project Financial Management:
* Collaborate with the PL and FL's in the resourcing process.
* Processing pass through cost invoicing, third-party invoicing, generating Purchase Orders, monthly review of project labor hours, maintenance of project TIME Codes
Project Closure Management:
* Collaborates with PL on ensuring that systems are closed, documents archived and final work handed-over to the sponsor.QualificationsSkills:
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as the exchange of information is a significant part of the job

* Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload

Knowledge and Experience:
* Relevant experience in the PS or similar preferred with some Clinical Research exposure desired
* Basic knowledge of activities and procedures of the work area
Education:
* Intermediate to Advanced English level for non-native English speakers
* Bachelor degree or equivalent degree
* Master degree, post-graduation or equivalent desired
