As an IT Project Manager you will manage a variety of projects within a laboratory setting through all aspect of a project life-cycle.

Essential Functions:

• Leads project teams in the installation, validation, and deployment of laboratory information systems.• Leads project teams involved in the implementation and upgrade of enterprise applications.• Works as a Scrum Master for Agile projects and as a Project Manager for traditional projects.• Work with the project teams to establish project plans, charters, business objectives and scope.• Report status at the appropriate level to project team members, business users and stakeholders.• Identifies opportunities for process and efficiency improvement.• Manages issues and risks by identifying, tracking and driving to resolution.IT Project Manager - PPD Laboratories - Middleton, WI

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5 years including experience managing projects through all aspects of a project life cycle) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.• Preferred: PMP and/or CSM certified

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills• Superior time management, planning, and organizational skills• Demonstrated aptitude in IT concepts and technology• Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment• Prior experience in a regulated environment is a plus• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
