Overview - COS

IQVIA Commercial Outsourcing Services (or COS) is a rapidly growing provider of long term analytical, forecasting, project management, and reporting services. COS engages with clients in the pharma and life sciences space via a variety of engagement models and is specialized to work with our clients on critical business issues.

Role Description

As a Delivery Principal with COS, the candidate will take on a variety of roles that focus primarily within the following core areas, remote project delivery management, recruiting, and firm/operational leadership roles. The main focus of the role is to deliver outstanding client service, while building trusted relationships with new and existing clients that enhance the COS brand. The principal’s success will be dependent upon his or her ability to take on larger and more complex delivery projects, while opening up new business relationships remotely for IQVIA.

The candidate will work remotely with our delivery teams and clients to deliver projects ensuring that delivery results are at high levels of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Delivery

  • Support Sales Principals by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions addressing client business needs and/or issues
  • Suggest to Sales Principals the opportunities for value-added follow-on work based on delivery projects
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional support teams to plan, organize and deliver timely, accurate, client focused work
  • Provide follow-up with clients after project deliverables have been completed to ensure client satisfaction
  • Allocate direction, advice, and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams, and provide high level input and ensure development of client reports and presentations
  • Deliver all or significant portions of findings to clients

Firm Building

  • Oversee management of product offerings, including managing the delivery of COS offering
  • Drive thought leadership and firm building initiatives
  • Remain current on industry, clients, and competitive trends and directions in order to anticipate and identify new business challenges and issues
  • Participate in annual performance review team processes
  • Engage in recruitment and selection of new staff
  • Mentor, coach, and share subject matter expertise with others to help develop individuals and capabilities delivering world-class solutions for clients

  • Delivery – Track record of strong pharmaceutical, analytical, delivery on IQVIA assets and client/competitor data, focused on client satisfaction and outstanding client deliverables.

  • Business Development – Ability to support Sales Principals in proposal development.

In addition to the skills and experience above, candidates interested in joining IQVIA COS as a Delivery Principal should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred with at least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, market research or healthcare consulting industry;
