Medical Science Liaison – Per Diem - National

As a per diem Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will work and collaborate within our Medical Solutions Pillar to help develop strategies and solutions around MSLs supporting our clients. The per diem MSL will also have the opportunity to identify and foster purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers to drive new sources of patient value, engage in scientific interactions, disease state and treatment algorithm discussions to optimize understanding of our clients’ therapies for the right patient segments in a scientific and balanced manner.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a leading expert for company solutions
• Partner with key clinical stakeholders to advance medical initiatives in strategic areas, to drive optimal outcomes for our clients
• Provide scientific expertise and interpretation to strategic initiatives in collaboration with other local partner roles
• Agile and proactive identification and management of key scientific and medical influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics and stakeholder needs and drivers
• Explore and identify of new ways to provide patient-value in the MSL role
• Support market access colleagues when applicable in presentation of RWE/HEOR/clinical information to national/regional/local payers and P&T committees, as applicable to help support key clients

Requirements:

• Advanced or terminal degree (MSN, PharmD, PhD or MD) required
• Medical Science Liaison experience required
• Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device industry
• Experience in oncology and/or rare disease preferred
• Excellent presentation skills with experience presenting HEOR, RWE, and other scientific and clinical data
• Ability to work on a per diem (as needed) basis; must be available to do work during weekday day-time business hours
