Senior Proposal Manager

This is an internal and external client facing position that has overall accountability for the entire RFP process. It collaborates with varying levels of our organization. This position requires excellent customer service skills and significant knowledge of the drug research cycle to facilitate the development of client-ready compelling proposals, which include writing and drafting strategical proposal text and developing supporting project budgets.

Facilitates the development of proposal/budget preparation while managing the RFP process from receipt to delivery, including identifying potential RFP barriers and/or their risks for completion while identifying and implementing effective and efficient mitigation strategies. Obtains third party quotes as needed. Effectively and efficiently determines appropriate risk mitigation and or escalation strategy involving management only as deliverables are at risk and/or as needed. Ensures operational and finance led risk assessments are completed. Ensures proposal text and budgets agree with RFP, client specifications and communications, and internal assumptions.

Ensure smooth transition of awarded proposals to the Contracts team and may also include partnering with other PreSales colleagues to facilitate the overall management of larger and/or more complicated proposal preparations and/or programs, partnerships, and any relevant scenario modellings. QualificationsSkillsComprehensive (6-8 years) proposal management experience in a CRO environment or similar and at multinational and multicultural companies. Ability to work from home (partially or full time, depending on job requirements) Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours as needed to meet the client’s proposal deadline. Extensive experience working with proposal preparation in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry. EducationBA/BS degree or equivalent in a business or health related field (MBA Preferred), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
