Drives strategic conversations with the business on their challenges and their vision for the next 3 years
Responsible for building approach to talent roadmap, including executing the following for in scope job families (~8K IQVIA employees in job families):
Align with the business on future skill needs (assess external domain for new skills, confirm skills with leaders, outline future skills required for business strategy)
Assess current talent skills (assess learning agility, talent that can be upskilled, measure talent gaps to current workforce and develop talent/skills roadmap)
Map talent to new jobs, as required (align on job architecture with future role needs, assess internal and external market compensation data, finalize job architecture updates, as required, map employees to revised job architecture)
Develop training to build skills (develop training curriculum by role, align to current training available, develop plan for incremental training investments by role)
Embed portions of approach for talent roadmap into technology-enabled solution
Identify market pools (internal and external) to help address “reskill” and “buy” approaches through partnership with Talent Acquisition
Oversee all project execution and challenges the business to think differently in day-to-day execution
 Present projects and analyses to HRLT and executives across company

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related fields
  • 8 or more years of related experience in Talent, Learning, or adjacent fields or 5 years consulting experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence, guide and partner with team members, multiple business functions
  • Have a strategic mindset, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter able to find out of the box solutions and execute on them
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to identify priorities and connect dots
  • Ability to manage resources and multiple projects simultaneously under pressure and within deadlines
  • Creative and curious with a future focused and agile mindset
  • MBA or master’s degree highly preferred
