We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Enrichment Assistant for our Veterinary Services team at our site located in Mattawan, MI.

 

Job Summary: A Behavioral Enrichment Assistant is responsible for preparing animal enrichment and food products for animals at the site, providing customer service, including communicating product inventory, and assisting with other tasks related to distributing and managing inventory.

 

Essential Functions (The fundamental Duties & Responsibilities of the role (products and services provided/results accomplished) include, but are not limited to, those listed: Prepare and manage animal enrichment food and products for animals, as directed by veterinary staff, Behavioral Enrichment Specialist, or management. Inform/update colleagues and internal/external customers about enrichment food and product inventory. Complete customer orders according to specified timelines. Assist with distribution of enrichment food and products, as directed. Stock, track, and manage inventory and enrichment supplies, as directed. Perform all other related duties, as assigned. Qualifications

Qualifications for the Behavioral Enrichment Assistant position include, but are not limited to: HS/GED with 0-2 years or experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Demonstrated ability to work in high production environment. Demonstrated commitment to high work quality and standards. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization. Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions, including the ability to learn a validated system. Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice. Ability to work under specific time constraints.
