Job Summary
We are seeking a As an Janitor in general maintenance for our Buildings & Facilities department site located in Senneville, Montreal. You will be responsible to cleaning of general areas in vivarium and specialized labs.
In this role primary responsibilities include:
- Record GLP activities as required.
- Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is in stock at all designated stations.
- Perform inspections of eye washes and emergency showers.
- Perform inspections of first aid kits and replenish as necessary.
- Perform pest control inspections.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
Key elements
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role :
• Ability to read and write. • Trained in use of compactor and cardboard baler. • Ability to stand for an entire shift. • Ability to operate mechanical floor scrubber and polisher. • Employee must be able to work with normal commercial cleaning products and manual cleaning tools. • Employee must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs

Location :Senneville / Free parking / Shuttle service from Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site
Pay: $17 to $19 per hour
Annual bonus based on performance
Schedule: full time regular Schedules
Permanent, full-time position as of the hiring
