POSITION PURPOSE

• To drive the strategic workflow activities on a daily basis, providing support and expertise in the production of German data services 
• Investigate challenges, analyse complex business problems and make recommendations to improve on data quality and procedures whilst applying best practices
• Support and drive German based projects by implementing positive change to support business initiatives.
• Coordinate offshore teams to deliver high quality outputs
• To be the source of knowledge for what data is held where, how data is structured and how data is moved between systems
• To constantly be looking for ways to improve data quality that lead to improved customer satisfaction
• To think creatively to generate new solutions and make improvements to current processes that deliver value to our customers

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop a specialisation into relevant IQVIA German data sources
• Coordinate with various offshore groups in case of any issue with databases and arrive at quick resolution
• Act as escalation point between offshore teams and internal commercial stakeholders
• Execute complex pieces of data analysis to answer business questions
• Support all Production functions where need arises to ensure on time delivery to clients
• Support the Operations team by providing pertinent information to allow investigation of quality and production issues
• Develop user story business requirements using Jira, creating test plans and executing UAT
• Contribute to team effort through communication, cooperation and coordination across IQVIA

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Strong data knowledge and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interpret and present complex concepts
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneously
• Experience working on projects using Agile type approaches preferred
• Desired (but not essential) some experience of using a Data Visualisation Tool
• Desired (but not essential) some awareness of big data and associated tools
• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge desired
• Graduate preferably with a mathematical, scientific, engineering or computer science based degree
