Our colleagues in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) are responsible for maintaining data for more than 26,000 employees in over 46 countries. This group leads and administers our service delivery application, ServiceNow, as well as other HR applications and projects.

About the Position:

The Senior HRIS Specialist is responsible for document management with our ServiceNow platform, including migration of data from multiple content servers and setting document retention and security policies. The role provides analysis, testing, implementation, and project management support for ServiceNow Document Management projects including upgrades and enhancements. Ensures data integrity and efficient processing of HR data as well as troubleshooting, auditing and systems maintenance. Responds to ad hoc requests for information using a variety of reporting methods and statistical summaries.

Job Description: Technical point-of-contact for document management within ServiceNow, as well as assisting with system enhancements and upgrades. Performs migration of data from multiple content servers to ServiceNow, assigning and setting document retention and security policies. Provides production support, including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Serves as the primary point of contact for operational support issues related to ServiceNow document management. Ensures data integrity and efficient processing of HR information. Performs maintenance to include security, data entry, configuration and routine auditing. Develops queries, provides data feeds and various reports and statistical summaries of HR information. Identifies and develops additional reports. Evaluates, recommends, plans, tests and implements improvements, enhancements and upgrades to the system. Develops and maintains all systems related documentations, procedures manuals, tables, code lists, etc. Serves as liaison with IT staff and external vendors to develop and/or implement applications and analyze, troubleshoot and resolve programming or systems related problems.

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5-8years’ experience) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

ServiceNow experience required with a strong knowledge of document management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated software knowledge of human resources information systems, advanced database applications (e.g. Microsoft Access), report writers (e.g. Crystal) and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills Process improvement orientation Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with all levels of employees and work as part of a team Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to provide service/remain focused in a demanding environment Strong analytical and problem solving skills, as demonstrated by ability to identify problems and determine appropriate solutions and resolve sensitive problems Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve strict deadlines under pressure Demonstrated self-starter Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding HR data
