This role forms part of the EMEA Technology Operation function, aiming to deliver innovative technology-based applications & services to our customers. 

For our team based in Lisbon we´re currently looking for talented and passionate graduates in Information Technology/Computer Science willing to get up the learning curve quickly.

Responsibilities:

Under guidance of senior team members, your main responsibilities as a Jr. Developer/Configurator will be:

• Configures application/product/service in accordance to functional or technical specifications.
• Design/executes unit tests to verify fitness for purpose

• Produces custom scripts as necessary to integrate multiple products where standard connectors may not be available (may require working with the product development team)

• Analyze and identify potential impact of requests on the application functionality/performance
• Undertakes peer code/config reviews
• Assists with producing prototype solutions for a Proof-of-Concept sub-project
• Responds to and resolves defects/issues reported by the Test team or by clients during UAT.
• Devises workarounds for defects/issues found in Production
• Ensures that good development practice is followed

In addition to on-the-job experience, IQVIA will provide opportunities to develop your skills in Salesforce and other technologies including trainings and certification

Qualifications, Skills & Experience required:

• Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude

• Knowledge of IT system design and data management concepts
• Ability to write SQL queries
• Fluency in English and Polish/Russian, written and verbal

Desired/Preferred:

• Experience in object-oriented language (e.g. Java or C#)
• Web based app development experience
