Assignment Scope & Learning Opportunities:

(Under the guidance of Consultants/Engagement Leads)

  • Leveraging on available global health and public policy information to support the development of strategies for global health donor organizations, life science companies, and governments
  • Assisting with business development (e.g. opportunities identification and scoping) and proposal writing for untapped client segments in the public health space
  • Conducting primary and secondary research, and performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop findings and recommendations
  • Support project delivery e.g. creating reports, presentations and other client deliverables, and leading client meetings and workshops
  • Providing other business units with subject matter expertise on public health topics
  • Developing broad knowledge of related consulting methodologies and public health context through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities with internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience Required

  • Undergraduate or Master’s degree in relevant areas e.g. healthcare, health economics, public health, public policy, epidemiology, life sciences, business management
  • Candidates with a deep interest or prior experience working with global health organisations (e.g. donor/funding agencies, NGOs), governments (e.g. policymakers, regulators) and life science companies will be advantageous
  • High degree of comfort with handling large data sets (qualitative & quantitative), finding insights in unstructured data, and rapidly evolving project focus / tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (e.g. presentations, meeting and workshop facilitation, and report writing) skills required
  • Great interpersonal skills including ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
  • Strong problem solving, analytical & project management skills
  • Good level of adaptability and an ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with a variety of software packages and applications e.g. Tableau, ThinkCell, MS Office suite(Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
